Control Issues Detection

The Control Issues options refer to settings applicable to controls only. The options are either more general (for instance, CodeSMART can detect controls with missing hotkeys) or very specific to control types or even to control properties (for instance, one can analyze the value of the PictureBox's TabStop property).

To review Control Issues settings:

  1. Click Designer Analyzer in the Reviews popup menu on the Other Tools toolbar or select the same entry in the CodeSMART main menu in order to display the Designer Analyzer dialog box (quick toolbar and menu references are available).
  2. Click the Control Issues tab in order to display the corresponding options pane.

  3. Check/uncheck the items you want to include to or to exclude from the analysis. While each option control is focused, a descriptive hint text will be displayed in the top frame of the dialog.
  4. Some options include a link control which can be used to either customize a default value, or to open a specific dialog which can help you detail the corresponding setting.
